West Worcester Development forms part of a major mixed-tenure housing scheme being delivered in Worcester by Vistry Group in partnership with Sigma for the Simple Life Homes platform. Publicly available project information states that the wider development will provide 233 new homes within the broader Elgar Park community, including homes for market sale, social rent, shared ownership and build-to-rent occupation. This makes the scheme an important residential project designed to widen local housing choice while maintaining the quality and consistency expected of a modern new-build neighbourhood.
Within that wider programme, Capricorn Contracts’ package supports 41 plots for Countryside Properties, part of Vistry Group. The works include blinds to living spaces and bedrooms, together with skylight blinds where rooflight areas require more specialised light control. Although a finishing package, the installation plays a meaningful role in privacy, comfort, usability and handover readiness, helping ensure the completed homes feel practical, well-resolved and ready for occupation.
Capricorn Contracts delivered a coordinated blinds package for 41 new homes at West Worcester Development, supplying and installing window treatments tailored to the way each space would be used rather than simply repeating one solution throughout. The works were designed around the needs of bedrooms, living spaces and rooflight areas, helping the contractor achieve the right balance of privacy, blackout performance and everyday light control. By working across multiple plots within a live housing programme, Capricorn contributed to a consistent, high-quality finish that complemented the wider residential scheme and supported smooth handover of homes ready for occupation.
